Which kind of website do you have? Frame, Frame & Panel or Workshop

Framewright builds websites in three ways. Which one you have decides what you can change yourself and what goes through us. Your proposal or project documents say which one you chose. If you're not sure, ask in a ticket.

Frame (static site)

Hand-built pages with no database and no plugins. Fast, secure and cheap to keep running.

  • You change content by: asking us. There's no editing panel. See the article Requesting changes on a Frame site.
  • Hosting: Framewright hosting or your own.

Frame & Panel (static site with our editing panel)

The same kind of site, plus a panel built for your site where you edit sections, add projects and swap photos yourself, with an SEO preview before you publish.

  • You change content by: logging in to the panel. Need help with it? Open a ticket and we'll walk you through it.
  • Hosting: Framewright hosting only.

Workshop (WordPress)

A WordPress site with a custom theme, for when you need specific plugins or your team already works in WordPress.

  • You change content by: logging in to WordPress as usual.
  • Updates and security: handled by us under a support plan.
  • Hosting: Framewright hosting or your own.
